Odoo L2 Functional Consultant
Role Overview
The Odoo L2 Functional Consultant is responsible for handling advanced functional issues, system configurations, business process alignment, and supporting L1 in resolving escalated tickets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve functional issues escalated from L1
- Configure and optimize Odoo modules based on business needs
- Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide solutions
- Perform gap analysis and suggest process improvements
- Prepare functional specifications for L3 (technical team) where customization is required
- Conduct user training sessions and prepare documentation
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and deployment activities
- Ensure SLA adherence for issue resolution
Core Modules Expertise (Any 2–3 Mandatory)
- Sales & CRM
- Purchase
- Inventory / Warehouse
- Accounting / Finance
- Manufacturing (MRP)
- HR / Payroll
Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of business processes and ERP workflows
- Hands-on experience in Odoo configuration and implementation
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions
- Knowledge of integrations and basic technical understanding (API, workflows)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Odoo Functional Consulting / ERP consulting
- Experience in support + implementation projects preferred
Key KPIs
- SLA adherence for escalated tickets
- Reduction in recurring issues
- Process improvement recommendations
- Successful UAT and deployments
