Role Overview

We are looking for a Power BI Developer with 3–4 years of industry experience in building dashboards, developing data models, and crafting meaningful insights for business stakeholders. You will work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs, transform data using Power Query and SQL, and deliver clean, intuitive visualizations through Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Power BI solutions.

• Connect to various data sources such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Excel, and SharePoint.

• Perform data cleaning, shaping, and modeling using Power Query and DAX.

• Create interactive reports & dashboards using visuals like cards, matrix, maps, charts, and KPIs.

• Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and manage workspace roles in Power BI Service.

• Schedule dataset refreshes and ensure dashboard performance & reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Business Users, and Analysts.

• Troubleshoot report issues, optimize performance, and continuously improve user experience.

Required Skills

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Power BI Dashboard Development.

• Strong command over:

  • Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service

  • DAX (Time Intelligence, Conditional Logic, Measures & Calculated Columns)

  • Power Query (Merge, Append, Pivot/Unpivot, Column Transformations)

• Solid SQL skills for querying and joining datasets.

• Experience working with Star Schema / Snowflake Model.

• Familiar with Import and DirectQuery modes.

• Exposure to SSIS / ETL / DBT is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience building SSRS Reports.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Basic understanding of Python is a bonus.
