Title: L2 Application Support Engineer – Turing Treasury

Work Schedule:24x7 rotational shifts, split shifts aligned with treasury business hours, with availability for high-value transaction windows and regulatory reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Treasury Application Support
- Provide L2 support for treasury functions such as cash flow tracking, interbank settlements, RTGS/NEFT interfaces, and reconciliation.
- Monitor application jobs, message queues (e.g., for SWIFT, SFMS), and fund transfer processing.
- Support intra-day liquidity, investment positions, and deal processing across multiple currencies and counterparties.
Incident & Service Management
- Resolve incidents related to data issues, job failures, interface lags, and integration points with CBS, RTGS, or SWIFT.
- Log and track incidents using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) and ensure timely resolution with RCA documentation.
- Escalate and coordinate with L3 teams/vendors for product issues and patches.
Monitoring & Automation
- Monitor real-time dashboards, alerts, and logs for transaction delays, fund mismatches, and failure patterns.
- Automate reporting, reconciliation checks, and health-check routines using scripts or dashboards.
- Participate in DR drills and performance testing of fund flow systems.
Reporting & Compliance Support
- Assist treasury team in preparing reports for regulatory bodies (RBI, SEBI, internal audit).
- Ensure reconciliation and compliance records are properly maintained and accessible.
- Validate end-of-day positions and assist in system closing activities.
Technical Skills:
Banking Systems: Treasury Platforms (e.g., Turing Treasury, Calypso, Murex)
Messaging Interfaces: SFMS, SWIFT, ISO 20022/XML
Scripting & Automation: SQL, Shell, Python
Database: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server
Monitoring: ELK Stack, Grafana, custom treasury dashboards
ITSM: ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy
Soft Skills & Functional Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of treasury operations, fund settlement, and interbank transfer lifecycle.
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams including Treasury Ops, Finance, and Engineering.
- Ability to work under pressure during high-value transaction periods or end-of-day processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and RCA documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent – preferred
- ITIL Foundation (mandatory)
- Basic understanding of RBI and SEBI reporting guidelines (desirable)
